Motordetal-Konotop is the biggest plant in Europe, specializing in manufacturing cylinder liners for engines of passenger cars, trucks, tractors, ships and locomotives.

The history of the company starts in 1943 when a repair workshop for vehicles and agricultural machinery was opened.

In 1972 the plant produced its first cylinder liner.

Over the next 40 years the company was continuously developing, increasing manufacturing facilities, purchasing equipment and setting up new lines.

By the year 2015 the company has taken its place among the leaders of cylinder liner production.

 

At present Motordetal-Konotop consists of:

  • a foundry workshop
  • two machining workshops
  • auxiliary workshops

The company has mastered the production of more than 1000 denominations of cylinder liners for any vehicles, ships and locomotives.

Production at the plant is built on using modern equipment. In order to meet the highest requirements of the company's customers, Motordetal-Konotop continuously invests in the modernization and development of production.

The newest high-tech equipment such as Junker, Takisawa, Gildemeister, Gehring, Nagel, Emco and others is involved into production of cylinder liners.

 

Motordetal-Konotop pays great attention to product quality, which is confirmed not only with the confidence of the world automakers but also the certificates of international certification companies, including Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas and American Bureau of Shipping.

 

The company has been certified according to the following international standards:

The trust of such world auto-giants as Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Man, Volvo, Renault, Scania, CAT and Rolls Royce speaks for itself - in 2015 the plant received the diploma of the best supplier for Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG (MTU).
